Welp, another year in the books and I think it went pretty well. Stic killed it in the Sweet 16 edition and didn't even mind that he lost his Duke bet at the end. Don't know about you guys, but there was a lot of strategerzation and smack talk going on in my circles, so I count it as a big success.

The Betting Pool - 2018 Warm-Up Final Standings

Congrats to Ryan on a game well played. There was a flurry of betting and strategeration yesterday - was pretty fun if you were following along. Again, the payouts are 80/30/10. Here's the final standings:

Had Oakland scored one less point last night Tyron, Greg & BK would have been the top three! Gambling!

Thanks for playing everyone. I was able to work out some kinks and the game we run in a couple weeks should go smoothly. It will be easier since all the games for Thursday and Friday will be in place before we start and we shouldn't run into not having a line till late (I never did get a line for Lipscomb yesterday).

The entry in two weeks will likely be $20 or $25. Feel free to invite friends to play. I'm not sure if I'm going to do it the entire first 4 days or just the Thursday & Friday. It will require a lot more work to extend to the weekend and I'll likely be hungover. Feel free to e-mail me or use the comments of this post to offer your opinions or suggestions on what we can do better.
